Daimler AG
Our
projects with the Daimler AG show how to successfully implement individual
solutions aimed at benefiting customers on the long-term. For Mercedes our
highly specialized team with 20 years of experience has been developing vans and
trucks sales systems that are used worldwide: the have been two versions of the
software developed – a version for the Mercedes sales staff to be used on
laptops and also a version for end customers who want to create their individual
vehicle via a Web browser. More than 3,000 employees at Daimler AG use this
system in their daily work. Our CAS experts implement the systems for
international use so they can be enhanced with country-specific product and
sales data.
Airbus
Together with Airbus, CAS Software AG has developed a solution which won the
"Award for Excellence 2008" at Airbus in the "Innovation" category. The
configurator meets the requirements of aircraft manufacturers: customer requests
can be answered within minutes, dependencies of aviation upgrades can be
graphically maintained and technical offers can be created in no time. "This
kind of initiative helps us to drive our company forward", says Jérome Javelle,
head of the design office at Airbus.
Mercedes Benz Kundenberatungssystem (MBKS)
Mercedes sales staff uses their own sales system that supports all processes for
selling a new truck or van. The sales person can configure vehicles according to
customer wishes and create individual financing and service offers. The system
also helps employees to check whether vehicles are available and enables them to
create an offer directly on site. Individual offer documents in PDF or print
format can be created before or after a sales talk.
