System Requirements

The system requirements depend on your deployment scenario. Important factors include the number of users, intensity of use, the volume of data, and so on. The following specifications are the minimum requirements for a standard deployment scenario.

Client

CAS teamWorks is platform independent for users when working with the following browsers:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 an later
  • Opera version 9 and later
  • Mozilla Firefox version 3.0 and later

Server

Processor Latest generation
Hard Disk 1 GB + document archive 
Main Storage 2 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or 2008

 

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer Version 7 or later
  • Microsoft Web server IIS (Internet Information Services) Version 5
  • Apache HTTP Server Version 1.3.x/2.0.x or later
  • Microsoft ADO Version 2.8 (MDAC) or later
  • Only 32-bit systems are supported.

Database Server

Hard disk 1 GB + database size
Main memory 4 GB
Operating system Microsoft Windows 2003 or 2008 Server
Database system

 
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 (Standard or Desktop Edition (MSDE)4)), Oracle 10g and later (Standard or Enterprise editions).

E-mail Server

  • Must support the protocols IMAP or POP3 according to the defined standard.
  • The mail server must be multi-session enabled.
  • Must be able to run at least twenty open connections per user simultaneously.

Releases

We support the latest operating systems and their predecessors. However, we cannot guarantee to support operating systems that have just been launched. We may support older versions if they are still widely used by our customers.

The same applies to all third-party software which runs on our programs, especially databases, Office applications, browser or synchronization software.

We also support the latest and predecessor versions of our products. We provide support, fix problems and also implement any important requests.
