Tips and tricks: This way it is faster, more efficient and more successful

Smart functions can make everyday work noticeably easier. In our category, Casimir, our Relationship Manager, will show you at regular intervals how they work: in this edition, we are giving you some smart tips and tricks about working with CAS genesisWorld.

Tip 1: The fastest way to the customer dossier please!

Would you like to retrieve information about a customer or a project quickly and extensively? Then with only two mouse clicks, you can access the project or customer dossier. Here’s how: select the data record by clicking on it. Then by clicking on the right mouse button, select “Show dossier” in the context menu. Finished! Casimir says: “One click to the left, one click to the right and I have a complete view of the dossier!”

Tip 2: Eine sichere Bank

Who doesn’t have a daily flood of e-mails? It can sometimes happen that important messages are inadvertently deleted. By archiving, you save yourself frustration and are on the safe side: simply select the e-mails(s) to be archived and then with a left click, click on “Archive e-mail” in the context menu. You can now save the correspondence as fast as lightning where it is the safest: in your trusted CRM database. Casimir: “I think that’s great!”

Tip 3: Copy and insert addresses and off you go!

Simply click once on “Copy” in an address in the “Edit” menu. What happens? The company, name and first name fields as well as the displayed address are automatically copied to the Windows clipboard. If you now, for example, click on “Insert” in Microsoft Word, these address fields will be inserted. “Practical feature”, says Casimir.

Tip 4: Save tabs

To conclude, a function for all who would like to see their established sequence of tabs immediately when starting CAS genesisWorld. This is simply child’s play: click on a tab and then click on “Save tab group” in the context menu. In addition, activate “Load automatically when opening the navigator”. In this way, your favored tabs will be available on request every time you start CAS genesisWorld. “Clever” says Casimir!
