The main project objective is to develop and pilot an innovative online tool supporting individualised guidance and counselling for career management in the workplace, focused on the needs of the ICT sector for increased mobility, adaptability, continuous learning and equal opportunities.

Project activities also include:

  • the development and pilot provision of relevant counsellors’ training and counsellors trainers’ training
  • a specification study for the standardization of professional requirements for the role of Career Management Counsellor in the Work Place
  • extensive communication and dissemination activities, including an International Forum and an electronic portal.

The target group comprises the employees of enterprises in the ICT sector, the management teams of those enterprises, the counsellors-in-the-workplace, and training providers. The partnership, which represents eleven European countries, covers the fields of counselling and guidance, training, research, ICT industry, social partners and representative organisations.
